Borrowing the Internet

And now 7 months later I would like to catch everyone up on some of the things that have gone on in my life since Kyndra went to homecoming... haha. Yeah we still don't have the internet. It seems inevitable that we will never have it. The internet companies just don't like where we live. Anyway I'm at my in-laws house for a week hanging out with Martin's sister Megan while Gary and ValaRee are on a trip to Utah to take Riley to the MTC. So while I'm here let me tell you all about the last few months :)

So let's go by month I guess...

OCTOBER:

We found out we were pregnant!

NOVEMBER:
Megan turned 16 and I helped ValaRee with her cake, it was the first time either of us had done a cake with fondant. It was cool to learn a new skill :)

Martin and I went to California and visited AubRee and Royce. While we were there we rented this sweet ride and took it for a drive along the beach :)

They live next door to DisneyLand so I went for the first time.

DECEMBER:

We announced our pregnancy to the family with this sweet picture...

We had our first Christmas as a married couple and a pretty little tree decorated with my Grandma Magelsen's beautiful tatted snowflakes. I love them.

We went to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho with Martin's family the day after Christmas and stayed for New Years. His grandparents have a cabin up there and we got to party in the snow for a few days. It was delightful :)

JANUARY:

Apparently nothing exciting happened in January because I have no pictures... except of when we went bowling with Kyndra and Gavin. And I bowled terribly that day :( Kyndra and Gavin look cute though!

FEBRUARY:

This month found us candy making. Truffles anyone?

My Mother and I also went to Rexburg to see the beautiful new baby Ayla.

Then immediately upon my return home I got to spend the week packing so we could move into "the hut"

Kyndra went to another dance, and this time she got the boutonniere on with no troubles :)

MARCH:

Martin and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary by going to the temple and doing sealings.

I documented my growing stomach for the first time, I know shame on me for not doing it sooner. Oh well.

We went to a March Madness game in Spokane...

APRIL:

Gavin turned 14 and got a sweet wet suit. He'd never worn one before in case you couldn't tell. Oh Gavin... We made sure to let him know how they're usually worn after we had documented his way of doing it :) He and Kyndra both went wake-boarding that day. It was the 20th. Kyndra didn't have a wet suit. I think they're crazy.

MAY:

We made another trip to Rexburg to see my nephew Ethan be baptized and niece Ayla be blessed. I wish I had taken more pictures of the trip :( The only ones I'm throwing in here though are these because it convinces me that Martin will definitely always be a child at heart. Haha but I love that :) I just hope that he can be a smart child and not get too carried away doing things like this that eventually his body will no longer enjoy him doing...

And now you're updated :) Somewhere in there we found out we're having a boy. This is him at 23 weeks.

And this is me now at 35 weeks... Can you say HOLY COW? I know. Same outfit and it no longer fits quite the same. And my face has BALLOONED. Haha oh well I guess I'll survive.

Meet the Aegerters

Funny Story. Last year when my family was moving and were in the midst of two messy box filled houses, my mom and I went to Taco Bell for lunch. We saw a bunch of the missionaries there and were discussing whether or not when they ordered they had to say "Elder" when the cashier asked for their names... haha. So when we went to sit down we said Hello and asked which ward they were in since we were going to be in a new one. None of them were in our new ward but there were some in the same building. They asked what our names were and one of the Elder's was like "Hey I'm related to some Herds, my great grandfathers name is William Knowles Herd" So Mom was like "that's my husbands grandfather!" So we got to talking and it turns out he's the son of my Dad's first cousin Debbie. Haha it was crazy! So then we had him over for dinner, and when he was ready to go home from his mission, his parents came and picked him up and came over for a visit. It was our own little reunion :) well, reunion for my Dad, I'd never actually met them... haha. Here are some pictures:

Other things we did for my birthday...

Martin and I went on a date for my birthday aside from the concert. We drove to the tricities and went shopping, to dinner, and to a movie. We also took time to feed the ducks :) haha that was a personal request from me since it had been an awfully long time since I'd seen the ducks at Columbia park and I thought it might bring back some childhood memories.

Keith Urban Concert

Can I just say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the Keith Urban concert?? Holy cow it was AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVED it. Martin bought tickets for us to go for my birthday. It was in Spokane on the 14th of September. We had these awesome floor seats that were sooo close to the stage. I decided it makes a huge difference in the fun level at a concert when you have really good seats. He performed all of his popular songs including the old and the new, and he's good live. We were standing up the whole time dancing and singing, it was great :) :) The pictures show what awesome seats we had... My favorite new song of his is Only You Can Love Me This Way, but of course he sang that one when he was on the other side of the arena. The video of that one is just of the big screen, which is actually pretty cool, but here is Days Go By which he performed right in front of us :) And sorry about the movement.... it's enough to make you seasick but I was so caught up in dancing that I didnt think about the fact that the camera was moving around so much... haha!

Wedding Pictures!

Haha so looks like I haven't blogged since april... oops! My excuse is pretty valid though, we have no internet. Consequently I have to come to my mother's to blog and usually I'm feeling too lazy to sit and catch up on everything. But I suppose I'll start. So here's some wedding pictures :) Thanks to Keslie Houser for taking such beautiful pictures. I love them!
