Update on Eli's Camera Skills

Yeah they haven't improved much... haha but I think these are cute pictures anyway. They make me laugh because 1) Eli's face is the exact same in every one regardless of the fact that I was trying desperately to get his attention and make him smile and 2) He sucks his bottom lip in all the time and he's doing it in all these pictures. If he's not careful he's gonna suck it so far in that he'll swallow it! ;)

Oh wait! Here's a different face! And you can even see his bottom lip! Hooray! We're making progress!

Been Farming Long?

The other day we took Eli out on a tractor for the first time. Martin was swathing the field right in front of our house so Eli and I went and sat with him. Over all I think Eli liked it. He cried when Martin had to slam the door shut but other than that he was good, and fell asleep for the majority of the time. With such an early start at farming he should be a pro by the time he's old enough to take over right? :)

Eli's Camera Skills

We're gonna have to work on Eli's camera face. He can be smiling and cooing up a storm but if you get the camera out he won't make a peep. I think the problem is the little red light on the camera... He will seriously follow it back and forth, up and down until you turn it off. You can't even get him to look at your face if the camera is there, it's like he's in a trance... haha. So somehow we've got to get that camera to make him smile since he won't look at us when it's on. Not that this face isn't super cute with the little double chin and wide eyes, but it's even cuter with a smile :)
