Eli went to his first Mariner's game earlier this month. We went to a game the day before we went to Alaska and Martin was so excited to have his son there regardless of the fact that he was only a few weeks old. He's a proud Daddy :) And super anxious about making sure his son is a baseball fan. Haha! He ended up talking to David Aardsma through the fence of the bullpen about Eli because Aardsma had just had a kid like the week after we did or something. I have a tendency to be embarrassed by Martin's outgoingness but without it we wouldn't have cool stories to tell... haha so I'm trying to come out of my shell and let it be. Anyway here are some pictures...
Martin really really wanted a good picture of him and Eli with the Safeco field sign but the lights were behind him so this is the best we could get...
Underneath that shirt he has on a Mariners onesie that Auntie K made for him :) I wish we had gotten a picture!
Our seats were pretty dang cheap and they came with a hot dog and pop :)

We have the internet!
We were beginning to think it was impossible after going a year and half and being denied every time we tried to get the internet but alas, it is possible! We finally found someone who could get it to us! And now here I am in my own house, at my own computer, blogging! Woohoo! Now I just have to keep myself from wasting time here...

Alaska
Earlier this month we went with Martin's family to Sitka Alaska where his grandparents have a vacation home right on the ocean. It was beautiful! We relaxed at home, did a little window shopping, played card games, and the boys went out fishing. It was awesome to see Aub, Royce, and Grace since we don't get to very often. Here are some pictures :)

Eli Martin Roylance
I know it's already been two months but better late than never. Here are some pictures of our sweet little baby boy! He was an incredibly tiny little guy when he was born... only 5 lbs 10 oz., 18 inches long. He was born on Father's Day, June 20th 2010. We joked about him coming on that day and it bit us in the butt. Haha apparently we joked one too many times. But I was blessed with a super easy birthing experience. Heck I might even do it again sometime ;) Especially if we can get another little sweetheart like the one we have now.
And now here he is two months later... He's finally filling in! Haha he's 10 1/2 lbs. I look at him and think there is no way women (including my mother) deliver 10 lb babies. And yet they do. I am definitely happy with the 5 lb variety as long as they are healthy.

Sometimes we claim him....
I just thought I would document for the family how Theryn decided to occupy his time when he came to visit us. I don't think anyone is really suprised by this. And yes he went to Walmart and took great pleasure in people's reactions...
He's a keeper... :) Haha

Sew Sew Fun
I took on my first sewing project these last few months and I think I've found something I could have a passion for... :) When we went to Rexburg in February my sister in law Courtney had this super cute blanket that her mom had made for Ayla and Courtney told us that they had a pattern at Porters for a really cute boy one. So naturally I went and checked it out and she was right. It was SUPER cute. So I bought the pattern and some fabrics and now 3 months later the end result:I am so happy with the way it turned out! It took a long time to cut everything out, especially since it required going to my mom's house and using her rotary cutter and mat. But that was a good excuse to see her :) The sewing went pretty quickly, still time consuming though. And then the snipping of all the edges took a ton of time and some sore fingers, but I would do it again. Haha probably not for this baby however. We'll wait for the next one.
However, now I'm worried that I'm feeling overly ambitious. I saw this ADORABLE Yo Yo quilt in a picture that Megan showed me on facebook and I am dying to make one. Haha only I know for sure this one would be even more tedious and time consuming. Like it would probably take years to finish now that all my free time is going to be nonexistent... I'm pretty sure I won't be able to talk myself out of it though. It was used in this photography session. You cannot tell me that it's not fabulous. Plus the pictures are super cute so I'm feeling doubly inspired :)

Borrowing the Internet
And now 7 months later I would like to catch everyone up on some of the things that have gone on in my life since Kyndra went to homecoming... haha. Yeah we still don't have the internet. It seems inevitable that we will never have it. The internet companies just don't like where we live. Anyway I'm at my in-laws house for a week hanging out with Martin's sister Megan while Gary and ValaRee are on a trip to Utah to take Riley to the MTC. So while I'm here let me tell you all about the last few months :)
So let's go by month I guess...
OCTOBER:
We found out we were pregnant!
NOVEMBER:
Megan turned 16 and I helped ValaRee with her cake, it was the first time either of us had done a cake with fondant. It was cool to learn a new skill :)
Martin and I went to California and visited AubRee and Royce. While we were there we rented this sweet ride and took it for a drive along the beach :)
They live next door to DisneyLand so I went for the first time.
DECEMBER:
We announced our pregnancy to the family with this sweet picture...
We had our first Christmas as a married couple and a pretty little tree decorated with my Grandma Magelsen's beautiful tatted snowflakes. I love them.
We went to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho with Martin's family the day after Christmas and stayed for New Years. His grandparents have a cabin up there and we got to party in the snow for a few days. It was delightful :)
JANUARY:
Apparently nothing exciting happened in January because I have no pictures... except of when we went bowling with Kyndra and Gavin. And I bowled terribly that day :( Kyndra and Gavin look cute though!
FEBRUARY:
This month found us candy making. Truffles anyone?
My Mother and I also went to Rexburg to see the beautiful new baby Ayla.
Then immediately upon my return home I got to spend the week packing so we could move into "the hut"
Kyndra went to another dance, and this time she got the boutonniere on with no troubles :)
MARCH:
Martin and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary by going to the temple and doing sealings.
I documented my growing stomach for the first time, I know shame on me for not doing it sooner. Oh well.
We went to a March Madness game in Spokane...
APRIL:
Gavin turned 14 and got a sweet wet suit. He'd never worn one before in case you couldn't tell. Oh Gavin... We made sure to let him know how they're usually worn after we had documented his way of doing it :) He and Kyndra both went wake-boarding that day. It was the 20th. Kyndra didn't have a wet suit. I think they're crazy.
MAY:
We made another trip to Rexburg to see my nephew Ethan be baptized and niece Ayla be blessed. I wish I had taken more pictures of the trip :( The only ones I'm throwing in here though are these because it convinces me that Martin will definitely always be a child at heart. Haha but I love that :) I just hope that he can be a smart child and not get too carried away doing things like this that eventually his body will no longer enjoy him doing...
And now you're updated :) Somewhere in there we found out we're having a boy. This is him at 23 weeks.
And this is me now at 35 weeks... Can you say HOLY COW? I know. Same outfit and it no longer fits quite the same. And my face has BALLOONED. Haha oh well I guess I'll survive.
